Notification of uncontrolled discharge at Mount Todd Mine site

The Northern Territory Environment Protection Authority (NT EPA) has received a notification from Vista Gold that recent rainfall may have been associated with an uncontrolled discharge from an unregulated pond at the Mount Todd mine site earlier today.
Officers from the Department of Mines and Energy and the NT EPA are onsite, investigating the uncontrolled discharge.
No further information is available at this time, however an update may be provided following the investigation.
